Limbah Nuklir Jepang
Jepang has been undergoing a new environmental plan due to the planned expansion of nuclear power plants to the Pacific Ocean. The government of Indonesia has been implementing measures to protect the environment, including restorating the reactors at Fukushima Daiichi and ensuring that the air used for nuclear power plants is safe. The country has also taken steps to reduce the amount of air used in nuclear power plants, which has been deemed safe by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The government has also implemented the Advanced Liquid Processing System (ALPS) to ensure that the air used for nuclear power plants is safe to be discharged into the ocean. The ALPS has been successful in reducing the amount of radioactive waste in the air, with a reduction of 62 radioactive waste units. However, the system has also been found to contain tritium, which is considered radioactive and can cause radiation sickness.
According to WHO, the amount of tritium in the air is 10,000 btr/liter, while the operational amount is 1.500 btr/liter. The IAEA has reported that the concentration of tritium in the environment is not significant, and the process of releasing the air into the ocean is not causing harm to the environment and the environment.
